Sporting Kansas City San Jose Sport reviews
Overpriced, underwhelming game
When a top European comes to town to play the local favorites, what soccer-enthusiast wouldn't want to attend? We bought tickets early and anticipated some of the brightest stars of the BPL.
Unfortunately, most of them didn't show. Due to the World Cup, eight of the biggest Man City names were still on vacation, so didn't play or attend the game. While the Man City players who showed up were good and we saw above average goals scored, it still felt like we paid too much.
Yes, I should have known that by "friendly" the intensity would be different and expected some SKC Subs at half (maybe not 11, but some certainly), but overall it was a little disappointing. I'm glad the SKC guys enjoyed the game. Next time they play an international friendly mid-season, I will either watch on TV or read about it the next day.
